Crooked scope cross hairs

I have a Lyman Jr Targetspot that has crooked cross hairs. Is there any way to correct this? It is affixed by the thin guide rail on top and from what I can see can't be rotated. Any suggestions?

I had thought that the ring right in front of the eye piece threads has two little screws that can be loosened that let you slightly rotate the part that holds the crosshairs so they can be adjusted. Maybe I’m thinking of a different manufacturer but I really thought that’s how my Lyman worked.

You an adjust for out of vertical/horizotal alignment of the cross hairs as long as they are straight and square. Bent or misaligned they need replaced.

Lyman has the original scope instructions posted

My new old Lyman Targetspot from the early 1930's had canted crosshairs, and I asked JerryH how to fix it. He told me about loosening those two little screws and turning the crosshair assembly to vertical, and it worked perfectly!

Please be aware that it may be difficult to move, sometimes a little gentle heat may be required to loosen the dried gunk.
