I don't know if he frequents this forum but Ken Viani was the guy usually associated with those mounts.

CPA has a weaver rail that uses the rear mout holes and a third extra hole at the front of the rail.

Frnkeore here on ASSRA used to make Weaver base adapters, but he closed his shop and retired. Not sure if he still makes them or not?

I picked up a long blank picatany rail and mounted it on the barrel using the existing screw holes.  The advantage of the one Frank made, besides not having to remove your existing blocks, is that it extended back over the receiver allowing the scope to be mounted closer to your eye so you can get too close to it and have it smack your reading glasses and scratch them.   Just sayin’.

EGW Picatinny Rail Scope Mount (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

This will attach to your 2 back  scope block holes and can be easily modified as needed.  Cheap and easy solution

A simple answer, on light recoiling rifles is to just use rings designed for 22 lr with grooved receivers. I have had no trouble using them on my Stevens 47 / 44 1/2 in 22lr.

All my shooting is with centerfires up to 35cal. Recoil is an issue. With Frank's excellent input, I am going to machine up a set of adapters. I DO NOT want to remove the target bases at any time. I have a beautiful Lyman 35x All American with 1” tube which is night and day clearer than any of my Targetspots. I put it on to do “fine” work or troubleshooting.
