Recommendations for single shot gunsmiths?

Would it be possible to start a list of Gunsmiths that you have had experience with and could recommend to others on the ASSRA website?
For example (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) who specializes in Hepburn rifles but has been known to work on other single shot rifles.
He rebuilt an early Hepburn for me which is just awesome.

Unfortunately, most of the good single shot gunsmiths that I've had work on my firearms have either retired, passed away or having health problems. John Taylor, Kurt Hardcastle and Lee shaver all do good work on single shots. Has anybody heard or seen Glenn Fewless of Mook Machine Works lately?

I recently spoke with John Taylor,  he is still taking in work.
There is a young (50) gunsmith that attends the Quigley every year.  He builds a fine custom Rolling Block.  I have supplied him the components for several builds. The work is top notch.  Clint Philbrick, Coyote Creek Outdoors, Rochester MN.  507.289.8308.

While making recommendations, there is an even younger gunsmith here in Fallon NV that inscribes the Company Names, address and patent numbers on rifle barrels, tangs, and even the 6 line inscriptions on the left side of RB sporting model receivers for me. The service for a top barrel flat, OR sporting model 6 line patent inscription is $40  The fonts and sizes are correct.

Sir, am I reading correctly that he inscribes OR that can RE-inscribe ( thus restoring ) old stampings and/or roll marks?

Sorry for the confusion.  For me he is inscribing new information.  I have had to have a couple of rifles rebarreled and am putting together a few others.  Of course for me it is all Remington Rolling Block and Hepburn markings.  I am certain he will do other makers as well. All that being said, the ones he has done for me are exactly the correct font, size, and spacing as the original marking..

If he has a pantograph and the correct font plates to create these rollstamps, then likely he's doing new stamps, not going over existing to renew them. Tough to do that with a pantograph and follow existing stamp.
I had a local friend/engraver who used a pantograph to make new stamps, but he passed away last October and not sure where his equipment went to?

With all the horrors of shipping firearms, some of us need more local gunsmiths-somebody on the east coast, perhaps?

Okay...he is creating ROLL stamps and putting stamps on brand new barrels.  Correct?

I'd be looking for someone who could artistically re-engrave and deepen older roll marks that are worn.

Thank you, Everyone!

I had Lee Shaver fit a Badger barrel blank to a Meacham High Wall receiver for me about 25 years ago. I got an oversize dovetail cut for the forearm hanger and Lee and his helper were joking about not paying attention and turning the shank of someones barrel for a Sharps undersize and having to make a bushing to fix it. Enough for me.

Gentlemen, consider this. You have finally located that one firearm you so long sought. Unfortunately some misguided soul has cut an extra dovetail or two in the barrel. Of course they are right in the middle of the Company inscription.  This can be corrected.  The cuts are first filled with steel dovetail. Now all that is missing is the lettering in that or those spaces.  This gunsmith can recut the missing letters/numbers etc. thus restoring the original inscription. Rust blue and your find is complete.  I already have a find or two that have been languishing in the back of a safe for just that service.
