Targetspot Turret - Set Zero

I noticed a small slotted-screw on a Lyman Targetspot turret.  Once rifle is zeroed, can the Lyman Targetspot turret be reset to zero?  Do I want to do that, or should I leave well-enough alone?

Yes it is made to be moved, feel free to move it. You can always move it back.

I always set them to be correct with regard to the barrel of the micrometer. Any machinist should be able to explain the system. If never change the knobs then you can write down the settings so the scope can be removed, used on another rifle, reset , record and use on any number of guns. Just remember not to mess with the bases since it may disrupt zero on that rifle only
