Bergara BA13

About 6 months back a friend of mine bought a Bergara BA13 in 300 Blackout. He has been pretty impressed and last night he showed up at the Verein with another in 45-70. It has a 20 inch barrel and shoots quite well with 300gr bullets. This group was shot at 100 with a combination of Sierra, Hornady, and Haendler & Natterman bullets over N130.

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

That rifle is marketed here in the USA as the CVA Scout V2.

I’ve handled them, and have to say it is a very decent quality rifle. Good reputation for accuracy.

The US versions are offered in a number of cartridges, a few more than the Bergara rifles. Unfortunately we cannot get the 8x57 here, but I do have a custom barrel so chambered for my Encore.
