I need to find a gunsmith with a 25-20 WCF reamer

I have a Stevens 44 in this caliber. The breech won't close on a factory cartridge. It looks like the rim rebate is too shallow. To whom could I send it to get it opened up?

If the only thing wrong with the chamber is that it is a little short, rent a reamer and turn it by hand, checking after each two or three turns. I recently did that to one of my .25-20s.

If this is an early 44, it's possible the screw, located inside the breach block has been moved providing too much tension in the lockup.  "If" your rifle has this screw, it's visible with the action open looking straight down from the top.  You will see it between the breach face and the extractor.
