accuratemolds.com even with the new ownership has done good work for me.They are limited to a small meplat so a true point isn't an.option.They have a big catalog and often a design is pretty close and you can tweak the dimensions

NOE has these molds in stock. They are exact copies of the PJ molds, that I designed, using actual PJ bullets out of his molds.

The 217 gr is the bullet for 14 twist and the 234 gr is for 11 - 12 twist.

I have found that the NOE copy of the Jones does not shoot nearly as good as the original.

I have found that the NOE copy of the Jones does not shoot nearly as good as the original.

Did the original that you shot have the same dimensions as the NOE drawing?

Did you measure the bullet from the NOE mold and compare it to the drawing? If so, was there any differences and was it cast from a aluminum or brass mold?

If the dimensions and weight are the same, I can see no reason that they could shoot any different.

The 234 gr bullet that I copied was from Dave Pattersons, PJ mold, shot in a 11.5 twist RKS barrel. We've all seen how well his rifle shoots with that bullet.

Regarding Steve Brooks molds, he will not guaranty that he can make a mold to any particular dimensions, he tried to do one for me and was off by quite a bit, in important areas of the design. If you ask him, he will only say it will be "close".

Since the passing of PJ, there are no custom mold makers that can make accurate copy of a drawing or mold on a 1 of 1 bases, that I am aware of.

Thanks for your responses
I contacted David Mos but he said he is not taking any orders
I have the 230 grain NOE mold but have trouble maintaining constant wt with the aluminum mold
I had forgot about Steve Brooks he made me a very good 338 mold a few years ago so I ordered a new mold from him today

I have a Hoch version of this Mos mould and it shoots extremely well in my 14 twist high wall.  It may not be as heavy as you are seeking though.

Are these molds more suited to breech seating, or fixed?

Particularly the NOE ones linked above.

Thanks

The CPA one is pretty much limited to breech seating due to its taper.

The 234gr shoots very well in my 11.5 twist RKS barrel and the 217 works well in a 14 twist Kreiger. The issue I have with NOE moulds is I can't get them to cast without whiskers on the bullets. The vent lines are too big in my opinion. I got tired of removing the whiskers so I had Brooks make one for me. No issues.

My (heavy) single cavity brass NOE 217 gr mold from Frank’s design had no issues casting bullets.  I shoots well but not as consistent as my Hoch 208 gr Borton-Darr designed 3 groove spitzer in my 14 twist GM barreled high wall.
