Bullet recommendations for 38-72 win

My Borchardt 38-72 build is coming to an end and I am trying to decide what bullet to try. I have a 300 gr .380 dia Lyman round nose and a 250 gr '.376 RCBS mold but have been looking at a .376 dia "money" bullet of about 300 grains from Buffalo Arms that is in stock. Very expensive but it is in stock. I am shooting a 1 in 12 twist Shilen barrel. The .380 Lyman is too big to swage to .376 with my Lyman lube sizer without much difficulty. I know as with any new build it is all experimentation but buying molds gets expensive so I am hoping for a one shot deal. Any suggestions?

Depending on what you want to do with the rifle can help you decide on what to use.  With a 1 in 12 twist, you can shoot bullets up to 360 gr. Go with a Postell or money nose for long range shooting or one with a blunt nose for hunting. I'm using a 345 g. Creedmoor (Postell) styled bullet in my 1 in 14 twist 38-50 and it shoots very well. Because of the large capacity of your case, I would choose a bullet that sits well into the case that takes up some room. Don't go with a bullet that's got several reduced driving bands that will stick far into the barrel. With that case, you don't need room for more powder.
