Stevens 44 1/2 firing pin

Does anyone have a picture of a rimfire firing pin for a Stevens 44 1/2 ?   Mine has frequent miss fire and the firing pin has a rounded tip much like most center fires.  Is this correct or is supposed to be flat like most rim fire pins?

My original 44 1/2  .22 rimfire breech block firing pin is flat. I find that many .22 Stevens rifles have a rounded firing pin tip.

A quick look on CPA's website reveals that they have new rimfire firing pins for original Stevens 44 1/2's for $20.

It was provided with the CPA 44 1/2 I purchased in 1999.

Thanks everybody.  It looks like my suspicions were correct.  I’m not sure why I didn’t think about cpa.  I’ve already made one order from them to get front and rear sights.

You might also try turning in the mainspring tension screw on the lower tang to increase the power of the mainspring,it might help with the fail to fire issues.
