	Heard about "Raton" for many years. I know I will never get to go there but it looks like a beautiful range with the mountains in the back and that firing line that goes on forever. Some very nice purpose built rifles. Thanks for all the pictures and info... JMH

	jhm, Yes, Raton, the NRA Whitington Center, is a shooters paradise. The reason that I put these photos of the shoots on the site is because our numbers keep dwindling. When I first came to the ISSA Coors match in Raton, there were over a hundred shooters competing, we had to have two relays 'cause there were so many shooters. However, every year there are fewer and fewer shooters. Much of it's natural attrition, and I can't help that, but much of it's that we're not getting the word out, we need to advertise and promote our sport. Eric Keel and I sat for an interview about schuetzen shooting, but it hasn't shown up on the Whittington center website yet. We all need to get the word out that schuetzen matches are fun with plenty of gemütlichkeit!

	Where might someone find a description of each of the matches, including the targets, the distances, the number of shots, spotting, and the definitions of things such as "traditional"?
