looking for input on how many groove 6 or 8  for a cast bullet gun based on .358  bullet 1:10 twist finished length of 28"

I'm massively less experienced with cast bullets than *many* on this forum. But my gut is more grooves and narrower lands for cast. More area of contact to spin the bullet without distortion ... or worse...

Erosion of narrow lands a much smaller problem than with a high power rifle with jacketed bullets.
