New family member came home with me from Colorado.  From the Joe Ruth collection.

25-25 Stevens.  Now off to find brass.

Be nice to know what those five pins represent.

A look at my new acquisition compared to the custom #7 I built.

The gun I built is sitting in front of the original, so the perspective is off, making the custom gun look longer and larger, when in fact it is not.

What a nice pair of 7s! Your talent is amazing and your new old addition is super too! I like your wood thicker through the wrist area that you did as I would think it would be less prone to break. The originals look to be easy to break.

As shown the original weighs 7 pounds 4 oz. 
My build is 5 pounds 7 oz.

The more I looked at the comparison pictures, the more the perspective bothers me!  Had to compare the two again.  Length of pull is the same and the barrel on my build is a 1/2 inch longer, frame sizes appear identical.  The grip area is, in reality, larger on my build.  The way a picture is taken can really mess with reality.

That sure is light enough for a carry around one, to take offhand potshots at rabbits, and the like.
