The real lesson learned is that the time involved I should have bought a prefit which is $325. I had a bbl at $120 a reamer for $70 and hours of time just to save $135.

I did a tapered chrome moly barrel for my rolling block and had a horrible resonance at the mid point.  Finally switched to the tool post grinder to finish it up.  It did stay on the lathe for two weekends Tongue
