Some No 2 Rollers

Let’s share some love for the little No 2 roller. Here are mine that I love to plink with on the home range or carry while walking in the woods. Never tried to get too serious on targets with them just enjoy the light weight, reduced cost of shooting and reliving my boyhood. 
Top was restored by John Gillett and is in .22 LR. Next is one I have had for years and in .32 CF, which I lucked out on as most are RF. .32 short and long Colt shoot just fine in it. The third was restored by Ed Webber and is in 32/20, one of my favorite calibers. Yes, the front sight is half a coin for the blade. When shooting it is dead on at 50 yards and no need to file it down.

All three rifles are great! I've always been a fan of the Remington No.2 Rolling Blocks and always seem to have a few in my collection.
  John Gillette and his shop, Classic Guns in Beecher (then Crete) Illinois, turned out some great case-colors. John also did some great restorations and built custom rifles.
  Ed Webber also did exceptional work. His choice of wood for your No.2 is great!
  Both men were artists in metal and wood.

I too am fond of #2s. I have a rack full, from .22 to .44 cal., including a couple very early rifles - the earliest being a Gem rifle.
