If you didn't attend you missed a lot of very fine rifles. I'm sure there will be reports of some popping up on here shortly including mine which is rather unique. Does anyone have a lead on Reloader 15 or Norma 203-B that is legit?

I wouldn't know what to think if I saw even ONE Ballard at our local shows. It is mainly black guns handguns and jewelry. All the older guys that had the "good stuff" have for the most part passed on. I saw on YouTube where the new "in the business rule" by the ATF that was to go into effect the 20th has an injunction on it till the end of this month. Don't know where it is going but I hope it goes nowhere or even better goes away entirely. 477 pages of absolute bologna. Sure would love to see a table full of Ballards. Those are some neat actions Rodney has. Would love to have one myself. Have fun guys and enjoy yourselves. If anyone has a chance could we possibly get a shot of the tables posted?

Jim, here is a shot of Bobs table. So much drool in front of it you had to be careful not to slip and fall.

Here are some more select pictures of the show. The last picture may scare small dogs and children, so be careful who you show it to. Starting on the left it’s Bob Warren, Greg Tryon, Tony Maddox, Tom Rowe and Bruce Nelson.

There were large quantities of Ballard rifles at the show, but also a huge turnout of people from this forum too! I kept running into guys who told me they are on the forum, and wish I could remember all their names beyond what Rodney posted.
Some of the drool Rodney mentioned might likely be mine as I to was infatuated with the rifles Bob displayed! They're all even better in person than any pictures we could take!
I had my table across from John Dutcher, which is always a pleasure. We were able to visit whenever he wasn't swamped by admirers and fans. He's a great guy, and deserves the admiration he gets.
I picked up another Model 1891 Rolling Block target pistol. This one is the mate to my Arthur Hubalek .22LR pistol, but this time a H.M. Pope barreled version. Might get some pictures taken tomorrow after I catch some sleep from the 2 day drive!

Great Show! Got to meet most of the people shown plus a few others.
Plenty of Ballard's, Surprising number of Farrows, a few Hepburn's, and two Maynard's that I saw.
Bob's table would make you cry, good discussion of Greg's coil spring set triggers, as usual, could spend a week at Tony's table, Vall's new pistol is "Wow", Rodney's assembled castings are amazing, really liked the Farrow plus a Webley I had never seen.
All in all, a wonderful time. Thanks to everyone.
Chuck

Here's another good looking guy from the show. My friend and fellow Ballard aficionado John Dutcher. (John is the good looking one on the right!)

My only firearm acquisition at the show. Another 1891 Remington target pistol, barreled by HM Pope, and other mads also by Pope.

With my Hubalek barreled and modified 1891 also.

Ballards? One side of one of Ron Peterson's racks had 6 or 8 and a couple more on the table. IIRC at least 5 were engraved. Among his overseas offers (besides the double rifles, Cape guns, drillings, top of the line double shotguns) were some singles like a Farquharson and an interesting Rigby. The Rigby came home with me, by the way. Did no one take a pic of Tony's great offerings? This is a 700 plus tables of antiques and collectibles only show so they have to mop the drool off the floor every night. Of course there are also displays and one was just Steven Favorites. Friday is open all day to just the dealers, club members, and $75 VIP ticket holders (like Vall said, just join the club!).

Absolutely amazing. Works of art they all are. I just can't imagine all those guns of that era in one place. I know I will never make it out west so thank you all who posted the pictures. Kind of sad to see them for sale but as the saying goes "you can't keep them all" Some day someone else will own them one way or another. How did the castings sell Rodney? Just curious...

Here are several pictures I took at the show.

1. I guess you call this Tony's lower end stuff.

2. Tony's tables.

3. Another of Tony's tables.

4. Tony's table.  That's Tony on the left and Chuck Deets (chuckster) on the right.

5. The last of Tony's tables.
