I use a beeswax candle to smoke my molds, and that usually works for me.

I have a can on slightly used birthday candles that I use.  They smoke more than most candles.

Bullets that stick to one block or the other is an indication of vent line or cavity edge burrs, also sadly the cavity can be cut off center by .0005" to .001" and that will cause sticking with hot alloy.

I'm far from a pro, but I use Frankford arsenal "Drop out" spray and it seems to work.

I would like to thank everyone for the tips. Just finished up a casting session and they are dropping out of the mold as they should.

All I did was use the eraser on the mating surfaces and that has worked so far
