How to make new look old?

Just purchased a new marbles tang sight and it’s to nice.  Have a Hepburn with nice but old bluing.  Looking for ideas to reduce shine of bluing on sight to give it some age.  Thanks

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Depends on how much wear or antiquing you want. I have disassembled some newly blued parts and dropped them in Naval Jelly or Evaporust to remove the bluing. Then I reblue them using Borwnell's Oxpho-Blue cold bluing, and afterwards rub the part with 4/0 steel wool to make them aged.

I've used Birchwood Casey rust and blue remover on a couple of mine. I do a real quick dunk then rinse and wipe down. If it's still to new, repeat. The blueing will come off these new sights fast leaving dark grey metal color, which by chance matches most of the rifles I'm putting them on.
