Just stumbled across this strange website somebody built for their personal woodworking projects and blogs. Saw this one I found interesting. Not as much detail on the man as I'd like, but it does have info I didn't already have.

Thanks for posting this marlinguy.
I live in NY, only a few miles from the old Remington factory.  Curious as to where Colton, NY is!

I was also, so did a map search. Colton, NY is just south of the border from Ottawa, Canada. Biggest city near it is Cornwell, NY due north of Colton.

I've always been an admirer of LL Hepburn for the last 40+ years because of his work at Marlin forearms Co., and earlier work at Remington. 
I've never seen any of the ML rifles shown in the article and had no idea he'd ever built anything like them?
