KING MATCH, 200 YARDS OFFHAND, ONE SHOT FOR SCORE, ANY SIGHTS, (AUGUST ONLY) 100 YARD .22 RIMFIRE RIFLE MATCHES: MATCH 9: 100 YARD .22 RIMFIRE BENCHREST, ANY SIGHTS, (UNLIMITED CLASS) Single entry match, 40 shots on 2 targets, (5 shots on each bull). Score targets may be carried over from one relay to the next. MATCH 10: 100 YARD .22 RIMFIRE BENCHREST, IRON SIGHTS, (UNLIMITED CLASS) Single entry match, 40 shots on 4 targets, (10 shots on each bull). Score targets may be carried over from one relay to the next. MATCHES RULES: The 200-yard matches are shot under ASSRA Rules: Plain base cast bullets, loaded with either black powder, smokeless powder, or duplex loads. Breech seat or fixed ammunition may be used. These rifles must be of the “falling block, rolling block design, or break open type action. Bolt action rifles are prohibited! Exclusion & Unlimited Class: For the 100 yard .22 benchrest matches; shooters may use any .22 rimfire rifle. Definition of Sights: “Any Sight Matches” may use scopes using internal or external adjustments. “Any Iron Sight Matches” may use open barrel sights, Vernier, Soule, or Lyman style tang sights, or click adjustable iron tube sights including Lyman, Redfield, Anschutz, or others. The front sight may be a post or globe using inserts MATCH FORMAT & RANGE SAFETY: The competitor selects a match to shoot for a given relay. Relays are 40 minutes in length. Targets which are not completed within the relay may be carried over and finished in the next relay. All matches are single entry events. Between relays the firing line will be made safe. Rifles will be placed in cradles with actions opened and a flag in the chamber. Handling of firearms between relays is prohibited. The Match Director will control the firing line. Competitors are responsible for posting, pulling, and scoring their own targets. Scored targets are turned into the match director to record scores after which they will be returned to the competitor. Winning scores will be verified by the match director. TARGET SCORING: A. Bench Rest Matches: value of the shot will be determined by the exact center of the fired shot. In cases where the center of the shot falls on a scoring ring the shot will receive the higher value. Shots outside of the scoring rings score 0. B. Off Hand Matches: if the leading edge of the scoring shot touches a higher scoring ring it will be given the higher value. Shots outside of the scoring rings will be scored as 10 points. C. Excessive shots on paper: If you have more than the required number of shots on paper, shots of lowest value will be scored. SHOOTING HOURS: Saturday: 9:00am-5:00pm Sunday: 9:00am-12:30pm (no targets posted after 12:00 pm) AWARDS: Medals and match bars will be awarded for 1st place, 2nd place, & 3rd place.
