Well it looks good enough to be a Stenbachenfarker.

I know have seen similar stocks but can remember where just hoping someone will have an idea. It has a #5 Stevens barrel #numbered to the action. The stock doesn't look very new maybe 1920s.

have you removed the stock and looked for info on the ends? It sure is a purty chunk of wood.
