A friend has a .22 rimfire handed down to him decades ago. No stock. Single shot marked L Graner Zelle-Mehalis.
Unique action. Anyone know anything about these? Can't find anything so far.

Can't help you there but looks like an interesting action and rifle. Would be a good one for a rebuild...

Graner Louis Graner of Zella-Mehlis in Thüringen, Germany, was listed in the 1939 edition of the Deutsches Reichs-Adressbuch as a master gunsmith.
