Can you safely fire 22 lr high velocity ammunition in what I believe to be a second variation low wall rifle? (not the hyper velocity stuff). Rifle in question was originally chambered in 22 long, but the barrel has been relined to long rifle.

Any era Low Wall 1885 is strong enough to handle .22LR Hi Velocity ammo.
