These (and the stuff shown in the next posting) are medals that Ken gave to Joe Feldman over the holidays.

We're curious about them.

I don’t remember who had them made but they were used by one of the clubs in California. The Eau Claire Schuetzen Committee purchased all that they had left and we used them for several years for our ISSA regional.

I find it interesting that the maker/designer combined a Federal-era eagle with a rifle that looks much like a circa-1900 BB gun such as an Atlas or a Globe.

I also wonder if there was a bronze-toned version (third place?).

Medals were Gold, silver and bronze. All were made from copper and then plated. I drilled them to use medal hanging bar.
