Looks just like the Russ Hooks who shoots the matches at the Stars and Stripes range.  Weird!

Don't know him but he looks like the soft spoken type person who can shoot you under the table. We have some of those at our range...

Sure looks long in the picture. The rifle is a all original special sporting in 32-40. Vivid case colors and perfect bore. Russ has all the good stuff. Perty sure the barrel is 30 inches long. No checkering on the forestock.

I started going to the Jim Gier match in 1996. Russ was there that year and every year I can remember. He drives up from San Diego. One hell of a guy.

Bob
If my memory serves me, that photo of Russ is 1982 or '83 at Golden?
Oh . . . by the way. Merry Christmas  Smiley

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

Hi Randy, and a very Merry Christmas to you! Yes, the photo was taken by Barry Darr at the 1983 Coors Schuetzenfest at the Golden Gun Club, and as I recall, you were there too.
