Just got news this afternoon that Aaron Albert, who went by Rebel here on ASSRA passed away two weeks ago. Aaron was a gun guy all his life, and like many of us especially enjoyed single shots. A really nice guy, and hasn't posted here in a long time due to health issues.

Sad news. I also noticed that weneedtoo (Richard Vogeler) from MO hadn't been online in a while and googled him only to find his obit from last spring.

RIP Reb. I washed my hands when I heard.

I've had some dealings with Rebel over the years. He was always fair and honest. He'll be missed.

Aaron and I had many conversations on a number of topics. He was a wise, well educated man with a great sense of humor that I enjoyed. I knew he was ill and had struggled for quite a while- still encouraging me to keep kicking through my own health issues. I will miss him for all these reasons and now I wonder who will care for Rebel now that Aaron is gone. RIP.

Earlier, I'd wondered about Rebel, Aaron's much-loved dog. He was a companion for when moving to Florida with no friends to start with. But, that mutt had a helluva good life when Aaron was healthy. Eating the best foods, riding around in nice old cars and going to the beach to watch the hot young women. And, they call it a dog's life!

I think most dogs with good owners have a life we all envy! I know I'd love having someone feed me, care for me, and only ask me to be friendly in return!
Oh, and maybe want me to do my business outside.
