Made it one time, 2009 I believe.  It was so hot Saturday one could hardly stand it.  Sunday, it was cold and the wind blew so hard it was tough getting on target.  But we had lots of fun.

Every year until 2016, then skipped a few years until this year.  Will go in future as we can.

My first was 2011, when it was rained out. No problem, just hit all the national parks, forests and battle sites and the Cody Gun Show on the way back.  Great trip.  Except for 2020, when cancelled due to Covid, I've been there every year since.

I think I went in '91.  I belonged to the Forsyth gun club and found out that Shiloh was donating a rifle to be raffled to registered shooters.  I didn't have a single shot but borrowed a '94 Win trapper in 45 Colt that met the requirements of "exposed hammer and lead bullets".  Never touched a target, but was in the drawing.  Been back once or twice since.

I've participated quite a few times over the years.

There is another similar shoot the next week end in Baker, MT about 125 miles east.  A very well laid out range and beautiful country.  A well run match with a nice camping area on site.

For both of these matches you can arrive several days before the match, sign in, and practice all you want.

No charge for camping.

The rifle you have displayed for sale has a hook buttplate and that raised my concern and yes I know the stock can be changed to meet the rules but that was not stated. Your low round count was also a red flag for me, the reason I asked if anybody knew you, so far no one has replied except you.

You don't sound like Mark Sackett to me, but I don't know him well.  Enough to know that your stated rifle and one time winning and starting shooting in 1997 don't jive with him, and he won in 1998 (for the second time).  He's won more since then.

Not calling you out, just putting information out there.  I don't know you, and have no dog in this fight.

I looked up the past champs as well before I posted not knowing there was a youth class so apologies for that. Still I would advise a person wishing to sell an item on any forum to introduce himself and known contacts from the forum before offering an item for sale. I don’t think anybody on this forum would dare part with their money on so little knowledge otherwise...my poor under educated self included.

Right, do they have the youth champions listed? I would hope so because Caleb Johnson will be the 1998 champion I don't remember how many hits I got all together hell that was 25 years ago. & I'm pretty sure that 1998 was the last year that you could use a hooked butt plate at Quigley. I remember my dad got a kick out of that because he said the kid I beat was probably bitching.lol Dad passed in 2016.....sigh.... I really miss him. It's going to be hard to see my rifle go, but I'm in a hard spot and really need the money.....nice gun with a bunch of stuff that comes with it. I'm not real sure where the best place for me to sell it as most wouldn't have a clue what it is.... Looking through all of Dad's Single Shot Rifle Journal magazines made me think the ASSRA has probably gone digital so here I am. Thanks for Having Me...My Father is Dewayne Johnson & we are/were from Upton Wyoming right on the edge of the Beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Thanks for your time
