My 1885 came home.

In a previous post, appro 2 years ago I sold all my Single Shot's because of my failing eyesight. With my new VA limited vision computer, I have been catching up on this forum and other sites. The fellow ( now a good friend ) I sold my favorite 1885 to told me if I ever changed my mind he would sell it back to me. Well, that 1885 is in my gun safe now. A standard model but whoever ordered it wanted a 28" barrel and checkering on the wrist & forearm. ( A Cody letter verify's this ) Plus it is in 40-65 WCF. Out of all the 1885's that were made, less than 600 were chambered for the 40-65. That's why this rifle was so special to me. I have a friend who will help me with reloading and another to take me to the range. I can't begin to tell you how my life has changed. It's good to be back !!  Dale.

Been Praying for you my Friend and some of our eye sight issues are actually pretty similar to each other.
I personally am elated to see back !!

A very kind and generous person to do that. Most folks aren't as lucky...

Nice to hear an old timer is back & around. A lot of us have issues due to age, But as long as you keep your interest up, you make us all feel better. Congratulations.  Jack
