Somehow between 4 moves I have lost (in a box here somewhere) my supply of 50-70 brass. I found the 45-70 and the 50-90 but no sign of the 50-70. Thought I would just order more but no one in the US seems to have it. I knew it would be expensive here but when one guy I contacted said; I only have 9 pieces and they are 5 Euro each I almost fell over. 

I heard about a little shop out in the forest (Black Forest that is) near Alpirsbach and went there looking for 8x48R Sauer. He did not have the Sauer but he did have Starline 50-70 in bags of 50 for 89 Euro. Just to be safe for a bit I bought two bags. I think I will order some one direct from Starline when it is available and have it sent to my son so next time one of us travels across the "pond" it can make its way to me. Better doing it this way, sending it through the post adds shipping, Customs, and VAT
