They are supposed to be interchangable according to what I've heard.  I know of one person who test fit a Shiloh breech block into an original and said it fit.

when the shiloh company started they took an original sharps apart and used it to model the parts for the rifle they build. their parts are supposed to be true to this original rifle.

Ive had good luck using shiloh parts to repair original guns on numerous occasions. Expect some hand fitting but I think that has more to do with variations in the originals than issues with the shiloh parts.
