	I received my Cadet action back from having it color cased by Thomas Klinger and have the rifle reassembled. I am very pleased with the job he did and think the overall project turned out attractive. This rifle is chambered in the 22-357 Maximum that I have been working with. The barrel is a Green Mountain blank with a 1-14 twist. The wood is from Treebone Carving, turned to the pattern that I supplied to George there at Treebone. Once I found the load that the rifle likes I have been getting consistent 1/2 to 5/8 in 5 shot groups. I have a second rifle, a Ruger #1 in the same caliber and it did an excellent job on prairie dogs while at the Quigley.

	A really great looking rifle Curt. I especially like the dark case colors.

	Nice, is the screw above the action retaining screw a takedown/barrel retaining screw? Gumpy

	Yes it is, I have a second barrel in 357 Maximum for larger critters.

	Speaking just for myself, I find many martini-action rifles less than fully attractive, but this example is one I'd be very pleased to own. Great job, Curt! Bill Lawrence

	I always admire the fit and finish of the wood to metal in any of the rifles you build. This rifle is fantastic and I like that you had the barrel rib case-hardened to match the action. Nicely done ...

	Gorgeous little Martini! The Greener style takedown setup is simple, but seems to work extremely well too.

	Currt, Great rifle; i like it almost as much as the .22 you build for me some years ago. It has won 1st and 2nd in the SE Regional .22/200 yd. match over the years. That is a great pattern, too, the same as my other .22 Martini. Clarence
