Joe and the Westergaard Trophy.
He did okay at the matches and cleaned up at the dinner drawings for prizes.
But I'll let him tell you about those, him being a shy sort of guy
How do we know that humanity isn't just a race of tame primates, domesticated by dogs to serve their purposes?

Joe looks like he just had a bowl of fried rice.

Good to see the Old Timers and Old Friends still shooting.
Unfortunately there are only a few shooters under the age of 65 so there are concerns about the future of the sport.

I shot my first lead bullet match I was 28 years old and 20 years younger than the other guys. Now at 58 I'm still 20 years younger than the other guys. Its been very hard to get the young fellows interested in the sport.

I had to give up shooting so I sold my equipment at a lower price to the youngest shooter that was interested even though older shooters were insisting I should sell it to them at a higher price.
I hope this builds a seed and hopefully the remaining shooters can seed their equipment to younger shooters that might be willing to take up the sport.
It would be better for us to nurture the next generation but they may have to develop their skills on their own since we are not able to get them to the range.

I sold a fellow at our range a 44-1/2 full 32-40 set up for much less than I had into it just to have a partner in crime. He's hooked but also 78 years old!
