I just purchased this tang sight, and it's got a 6.5" height staff, and base to fit a Ballard rifle. No idea who made this, but surely it's modern made. I've never seen an eye cup that was threaded female on any tang sight, and wonder if anyone here may have seen this style, or have a clue who made them?

Noticed both elevation knob and pivot screw knob have a groove cut in the middle of each. Also some strange markings on the pivot screw knob?
