	Is anyone boosting the power of the old Unertl scopes? I have an external adjust 1" tube 12x that I find more magnification would be helpful. I could just purchase a 20x and be done with it but prices of those are held dearly with astronomical prices. Anybody still working on them? Flatlander

	Optical Services in New Mexico, 915 -740 -4290, boosts up to 60% I believe. Speak to Cheryl. They install dots also, and do very good work in my experience.

	In my Unertl experience and others. Maximum magnification boost is limited by the length of the original tube. I believe 10x-15x are one length. 20x-24x are a little longer. The 30x-35x are the longest. I have also seen modified tubes that were lengthened at the eyepiece threads and a boosted eyepiece threaded on. I've seen several 36x that way..

	I have a Unertl booster on the way from an eBay purchase for a 3/4” tube. I will report on its use on my 20x or 14x scopes Jack

	ASSRA # 11318 I haven’t lost all my marbles yet but there is definitely a hole in the bag somewhere.
