Speaking of loads, does anyone recognize this headstamp? I was looking over my .25-20SS brass. Most of it is Jamison, but there are a few of these mixed in too. I was wondering who made them.

Now that you mention it, I can see the kangaroo. I thought it looked like Aladdin's lamp  Grin

If you have any of that Bertram brass (or the even older BELL brass), anneal before loading.  They will probably crack or split if you don't.

I'll definitely anneal all my brass, regardless of brand.  I have some old, large primer, nickel plated W.R.A brass, as well as the Jamison and Bertram. Certainly a mix, but glad to have it  Smiley

I just picked up this old 86gr Ideal 25720 mold. The cavity appears to be fine and it closes well. I had to replace the missing alignment pin. Its ready to go to work now  Wink

I've got a variety of .25-20SS load data, this should be a good builet to start with in my #2 rolling block with 1-13 rwist. But I'm all ears for suggestions - but nothing too hot 🔥   Smiley
