NOt a 300 rook, but I use HP38 in my Martini 310 Cadet (only faster pistol powder I had during Chinese flu) with a custom 120 gr. bullet.  3.5 gr. gives me ~1100 fps; really needs a filler our a small piece of tp to keep the powder nearest the primer.   

Shoots very well!
