New SS Journal Jan/Feb

Just to say I just received my latest Single Shot Journal Vol 76 Jan/Feb and Joe if I’m not mistaken this rag has been re-powered or you snuck in two more cylinders cause you’re running historically and technically stronger than I’ve seen in years.  Great work keep it up and keep tapping all your connections. How about twice a month it’s like good pastry.

The Single Shot Rifle Journal just keeps getting better and better!  The Jan/Feb issue has exceeded even my jaded expectations!  Kudos to our new editor Joe Dobrzynski (and to John Merz for laying the groundwork)!  For the modest cost of an ASSRA membership you will receive what is quickly becoming one of the finest and most interesting magazines of our sport!

We have a whole lot of members doing a whole lot of interesting things.  We like to talk to each other in person and to post here, but if some of us would take the time and make the effort to send Joe an article or two, he’d have more interesting stuff to put in the Journal… I’ve done so through a couple of previous iterations, and even my humble efforts were received well and printed as long ago as the days of Rudi!  How about some of the rest of you taking some time to send in reports of interesting guns, accessories, events, people, places, etc that are related to our sport?  Don’t forget pictures.  We love pictures!

Joe can only publish information he gets, so let’s make sure he gets some more good stuff so the Journal can continue in this positive direction.

PS  When I went back and thought about it, I’ve had at least one article published by Rudi, John, Wayne, John, and Joe.  C’mon guys, you can do it too!
