Convert Shiloh Sharps 1874 to 38-55 (Read 1012 times)

	I have the military rifle, not carbine, of the Shiloh 1874 with the 30-inch barrel. They no longer make this model. I have numerous single shots in 45-70 and I am tempted to reline it to 38-55. Anyone ever done anything like this? Thought of sending it to Bobby Hoyt to do. Your thoughts? Thanks. Jerry

	just do it right and have shiloh rebarrel and keep the old barrel with the package art

	I have not reached out to Shiloh yet. They don't make this model anymore and not sure they would do it, but I can always ask. Jerry

	If Shiloh won't do a rebarrel for you. Get ahold of C. Sharps for a rebarrel...great folks to work with.
