Borchardt Extractor V Spring

Somewhere in the dark recesses of my mind I think I recall seeing someone post a picture of a V spring that would push the extractor of a Borchardt forward to prevent the cartridge lip from getting past the extractor in the initial raising of the lever.

Anyone?

This is a factory cut 38-55 extractor that will let the cartridge slip past if I'm not careful. I can always fit a new blank extractor but would like to explore this fix first.

I'm not a complete idiot, some of my parts are missing.

Yes, I cut down an old Colt new service spring and snapped it into the recess in front of the extractor, and it's been there ever since...

Thanks Bob, that's the one I was thinking of.
