Lyman Handbook of Cast Bullets pg.106:  Designed for high velocity in the .25-35 Remington Automatic.  Also in same book, pg.171, gives load data for the .25-35 Winchester using this bullet.  Have tried this bullet in a .25 Ackley Krag but so far rifle doesn't like it.

I have another of these molds. Casts 120 grain bullet as stated. One without handles is much longer by 2 bands, so I guess I will have to cast some and see what they weigh. Is this a special? Thanks

Hey Westerner, are you sure that bullet came from a Accurate mold, never seen a round nose in their catalog.

He may have just said that the 257325 bullet is accurate in his 25-20 SS.

Thanks, plain English is not my strong point, if any.

I’m guilty as charged, came from studying Accurate’s mold catalog several hours before reading Westerner’s post. The brain could see the obvious, maybe better next time, then again maybe not!

I lathe bored the gas check relief out of the cavity.
It shot well with the relief however.
I'm using 8 grains of 4227. Don't know the velocity.
