Cartridge identification help

Good morning,
A recent purchase of a Miller rifle came with this brass and it was listed as a 32-357 Max and 32 Miller Short from the sight of its purchase and on the top of the cartridge box.
The photos I am posting are of a 32 Miler short, the necked case that came with the rifle and a parent 357 max piece of brass.
So far showing it to a number of shooters in my area no one has said "I've seen that one before its a -----".
So I thought I would post these photos and see if any of you can help me identify the chambering?
Each of the rims has an index mark so someone took shooting it seriously.
Thanks for any assistance.

Looks a lot like someone ran a 300 Blackout reamer in that barrel.  I have an acquaintance with a rimmed 300 Blackout that uses .357 Max as the parent case.

There are two cartridges that look almost exactly alike. the 32 Miller short and the 32 X 357. The more popular was the 32 Miller short it has a double taper. The 32X 357 is a single taper both are 357 mag length.
The 32 miller or Miller long is a max case with a straight taper to 32.

I hope this answers your question

Thanks guys for your information, this is an older Miller out of SD and unfortunently other than some brass I am not able to glean more of its history.
I have both 30, and 32 Miller Short chambering in two different rifles and depending on the outcome of testing with the existing brass this may become a 32RKS or 32 Miller Long.
