New (OLD) Squirrel rifle

I sent my Rollingblock model4 to John Taylor in Lewiston,ID. He installed a barrel liner and chambered it for 17 HM2. I then installed a Winchester B scope from Montana Vintage Arms. It is 4 power and has a center less mil dot reticle. And boy is this gun accurate. The target was shot at 50 yards with Eley ammo. I just love it when a plan comes together.

I hope you just do head shots.
There will be nothing to eat if you hit body shots

A rifle that accurate will let you make mostly head shots.

Nice job!  Squirrel heads and gravy with a side of polenta is the breakfast of champions back in the hardwoods.

The late Treeblood was the first one I remember hearing using the term "woods loafing rifle" pm this forum.  This would be a fine example of the breed.
