I have C668  would love  to see build info on it

Some years ago when Ballard Rifle Co. moved from WY to MI, it died. Not with a bang but a whimper.
My guess is - the company records were handled the same way as most small company's that go out of business.
After a quick web search here is one response:
The Small Business Administration and many state statues of limitation recommend seven-year retention periods. Pending claims, such as workers' compensation or open litigation, require retention until the claim is closed. After the record retention time frame expires, the records should be destroyed.
If anyone knows if the company records still exist, please chime in. Inquiring minds want to know Wink
