Art I had Lee make me a custom 0.322" die last year.  It took a few weeks to get it though.

Art, I have been getting NOE push type sizing dies as you have a large availability of numerous diameters in each caliber.  The little red canister from the Lee set works with the NOE as well.  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links); Tom

The throat of the die is tapered so the bullet gets swedged rather than sized.

Steve Brooks makes a nose punch for his molds, which I use to push mine through base first to avoid creating a skirt on the bullet.

I have the NOE push through sizing die set with many different dies. I have run many thousand bullets thru these dies nose first and have never shaved lead from them. Most of the sizing is to reduce the bullets by .002" to .005" and the bases come out nice and square. I pan lube the bullets first before sizing.

If you load a number of cartridges, the Lee Breech Lock Bullet Sizer is hard to beat when it comes to price.  The holder ( (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)) is $16 and you only need one.  The dies ( (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)) are only $16 each so trying different diameters is pretty inexpensive.  If you use the holder in your Lee press to size bullets one at a time, all you have to do is make a bullet catcher by cutting a hole in the bottom of a plastic bowl based on the diameter of the top/bottom of the holder.  Use Lee cartridge lube on jacketed bullets and you can size up to around 3-4 thou (say .311 to .308).

If you're shaving rings your lead is way too hard. When I started I was using actual linotype metal from a newspaper. I had the same problem. Add some lead and test your metal.
Keep on hav'n fun!

I received the bullet sizing kit from NOE. I am very impressed in the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship. I am only sizing from .323 to .322 with 20/1 alloy. Have yet to test at the range but the bullets look great.
