They're not common.  By most accounts the scheme didn't work very well.  I don't doubt that it was misunderstood by youthful owners, leading to guns being fired with excessive headspace. In the era of copper-cased .22 ammo, rim blowouts would have been more common.

I've seen a couple for sale on Gunbroker, but I don't even bother to bid.  If I had one, I'd get rid of the nut.  But then I have a lathe and experience fitting new and reworked barrels to Favorites.   It's actually trickier than doing a rifle with a threaded-in barrel.  The form and position of the dimple that the lock screw goes into is very critical.

I have a decent one in .22 long rifle. Mine has the lightest trigger pull of all of my favorites, I own a dozen or so favorites. Yes, not real common. Certainly worthy of a Stevens favorite collection. One of many of Stevens attempts to solve the problem of favorites shooting loose.

At 75% I'd say US$300 is more like it.  A really pristine bore might boost it to $450.

But as the old-time auctioneers would cry: "The more you pay, the more it's worth".

Run this search on Gunbroker.  Note that you'll see many that asked $300 and up and closed with no bids.

If the rifle has an excellent bore and 75% of bluing and color case hardening remaining, and had decent wood, I would say $625 would be a fair price. If the rifle’s case hardening is completely faded, and has a rough to good bore, $200-$300 would be about right.

I picked up one a while back. I find it an interesting addition to my collection.

I have one in .22 shot.  When I bought it, I thought that it was a scarce one.
