This is an image from the Stevens Pope book I am working on. The rifle has a few unusual features: on is the elevated cheekpiece call the Ross pattern. The other is the Pope scope rear mount. The mount clamps on the barrel in the typical was but not the adjustment knob—it has micrometer adjustments. This is very rarely found. This is what the illustrations in the book will look like but large.
