My newest toy!

Browning 1885 High Wall BPCR, 45-70, Hoke tang sight, trigger work done by Steve Baldwin. Found it at a gun show couple weeks ago and fell in love with it, ended up calling the guy that had it and went back and bought it from him. I didn't steal it by anymeans but when you add up the sum of everything I think I did OK.

Chris ... nice rifle! Is that a finger lever attachment on the bottom of the lever or is that the trigger extended through the lever? Thanks ...

Its a finger lever attachment that appears to be brazed on to the lever, I'm assuming Baldwin did it as part of the trigger work, the only thing added to the trigger is a finger shoe or pad that added to the lower part of the trigger. (not sure what you call it) Also it looks to me like a trigger that has been brazed on, I'm supposed to run over to Mr. Baldwins shop soon to pick some stuff up and I plan on taking the rifle for him to confirm he did the work, has a really nice adjustable trigger on it!

I found one in Tulsa I almost bought. If it had been 45-90 it would have gone home with me. He was asking $1600.00 and it too had a Hoke sight.
I am too deep in to 45-90 to change. I ended up buying one of the limited run Winchester Creedmoor's from another member here.
CM Brier-If a man says something and there is not a woman around is he still wrong?
