Tang sight for #4 Rolligblock

I looking for a tang sight for my little Rolling block. Anybody know which one works without drilling/tapping?
I really would like to put a MVA B5 scope but I’m worried that it would be too big for such a dainty rifle.
Has anyone mounted a scope on a No.4?
Thanks

I don’t own a #4, but you could put a Lyman 422 scope on it and use scope blocks with external mounts.

The perfect scope is a "Bushnell Custom .22" that has a rail type dovetail mount.  The lenses are made by Bausch and Lomb.  You can tell if is the right one if it has the BL in an oval stamp on the under flat. 4X, 3-7X, and maybe a 2.5X but haven't seen one.  Then take a piece of Brownells dovetail adapter or make your own that is flat on the bottom.  Glue it to your barrel.  I use 3M Panel Adhesive because it is already jet black.  You can slide the scope on the rail to get it just the way you like.
You can find these scopes on fleabay but they are no longer cheap. I have five ratted away so probably have too many.

Its pretty hard to install at tang sight without drilled and tapped holes. But there is a currently discussion on the cast boolits forum about using adhesives to do it.  I assume you have a late #4 that is not D&T's, the earlier ones are.  A #4 takes a Lyman U code or Marbles R3 sight.  Also there is the Remington gallery tang sight. Kenn Womack used to sell a really nice reproduction of it. I have one on a #2 rifle.
