I would look at the .001 or  0015.  The .0005 is too fine for me.

It is fun to work with as it is almost invisible.  I have done 3 so far.  The Unertl one I did had screws to secure the wire and was fairly easy.  The Lyman ones did not and I used super glue.  Someone on this board made a cool fixture to hold the wire taught and square.  I just hold both ends with tape and glue one side at a time,  Once it is set then you can pull the other side tight, tape it and glue it.
