There are three ASSRA  clubs in California:   Central Sierra,  Modesto and San Diego.  Combined, they have 25 (if I counted correctly)  matches a year!

I believe the lead issue is just for hunting. They still can use lead for target use.

AB 3071 to ban lead bullets of any kind on public shooting ranges is currently floating around in the legislature.Copy and paste the below address to read it.They won't stop at just hunting.

Sooner or later, we are all going to die. If Californians hadn't achieved a resolute imperturbability about the comings and goings of impending firearms-related doom by now, we would all die of anxiety three or four times per legislative season. 

We will fight the thing, but we are mostly past the point of being able to simultaneously worry about the thing.

The studied calm improves our shooting scores too.
