Anyone cut down a barrel on the International to say 22" for a scope gun. wondered if they were choked? No nothing about them,just wondering....

Your question intrigued me, so I went and pushed a lead pellet down the barrel of the two I have. There was no difference in resistance at the end of the barrel, so I can surmise that there is no choke.   I will also opine that I have never heard of choked barrels on .22 english rifles of that era
